Foot Orthotics
Foot orthotic inserts & arch supports
The foot is the basis of our mobility and is very complex. Foot orthoses (FOs) are used to correct many conditions – including redistribution of weight through the entire foot, offloading of particular areas, and biomechanical correction.
Orthoses fitting process
Initial Evaluation
The initial evaluation will consist of obtaining background history and defining personal goals. We will also do objective tests (MMT, ROM, Outcome measures) to help determine the best orthotic options for you.
Options Based on Your Needs
We will discuss the pros and cons of each option. If needed, an impression of the feet will be taken for custom foot orthoses at this appointment as well.
Delivery
At the delivery appointment, we will fit your device, make necessary adjustments and take outcome measurement tests again.
